So i figured now was as good a time as any to update my journal

Ash is asleep and i am using his tummy as a pillow from my chair by the desk. Ash if you're reading this later, you look freakin' adorable

So yeah, it's been quite an eventful time since the last update, which i think was sometime in November.

I've finished my second year of college and am awaiting my A-Level results like every other nervous A2 student in the country. Come on 20th August - we're getting rather impatient. I think i'll have done reasonably if not very well, if my teachers were telling me the truth. The only subject i'm worried about is History, because when i think i've done well in that the opposite usually transpires. Well anyway, i'll let you know

So i'm on my summer break now and desperately searching for a job - a couple of opportunities have popped up this week and hopefully one of them will want me. Please please please. Summer wouldn't be nearly as long and uneventful if i had a job. That's for sure.

I had some work up in the St Helens Arts Festival last week - sold one drawing, 'When I Get Up' but that was after the show to a friend, so i'm not sure that counts

I'm about half way through my list of summer reads, and am currently reading the trilogy by Judith Kerr, about 2/3s through 'Bombs on Aunt Dainty' which is proving just as brilliant as 'When Hitler Stole Pink Rabbit'... a childhood favourite by Kerr included in the trilogy which i didn't know existed until last week. After finishing those books i'm going to finally pick up the Twilight series because my boyfriend bought me the set for christmas and i haven't got round to them yet. I'm a little dubious about reading them - once you've read Anne Rice, how can other vampire stories compare? But then again, i might be pleasantly surprised? I watched the film and it was good, though i did snort a bit with suppressed hilarity... 'You're a vampire - bite me bite me bite me pleaseeeeee' .... just a little to naive for my taste. Funny though ^.^

Ash keeps twitching... this is also funny.

We're going on holiday to Pembrokeshire next week with the family - should be rather good times methinks. Though i always love going to Wales irrespective of the company >.<
